'Traffic light' theory for Covid-19 spatial mitigation policy design

چکیده

We suggest the use of outdegrees from graph theory to rank locations in terms their contagiousness. show that are equal column sums spatial autoregressive matrices, which may be estimated using econometric methods for panel data. In contrast outdegree, R is invalid 'traffic light' shading because it fails distinguish between export and import contagion sub-national locations. Simulation used illustrate concept its structural determinants centrality, indigenous contagion. An empirical illustration presented Israel. A secondary criterion traffic light involves stochastic structure morbidity shocks, induce 'spiking' through persistence, conditional heteroscedasticity diffusion jump parameters.

CoViD, A System for Collaborative Virtual 3D Design

Many important decisions in the design process are made fairly early on, after designers have presented initial concepts. In many domains, these concepts are now realized as 3D digital models and, in meetings, the stakeholders evaluate these potential solutions. Frequently, the participants in such a meeting want to interactively modify the proposed designs to explore the design space better. T...

Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient for Urban Traffic Light Control

Traffic light timing optimization is still an active line of research despite the wealth of scientific literature on the topic, and the problem remains unsolved for any non-toy scenario. One of the key issues with traffic light optimization is the large scale of the input information that is available for the controlling agent, namely all the traffic data that is continually sampled by the traf...

Sustainable COVID-19 Mitigation: Wuhan Lockdowns, Health Inequities, and Patient Evacuation

The world is urgently looking for ways to flatten the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) curve, and many governments have resorted to implementing strict lockdowns, as researchers show the effectiveness of China’s approaches in containing the virus. However, this paper argues that the draconian lockdowns instituted in Wuhan, Hubei, China, may have actually contributed ...
